European Bank offers loan to automakers

Europe automakers can be relieved a bit from the severity of the downturn. The global recession would possibly bring bankruptcy if a right solution is not made at the right time. To prop up the automakers, 866 million euros of loans ($1.17 billion) is permitted by the European investment bank to major automakers. Would this help them to widen their production?
